DH Licensing – Dave Horner

DH Licensing is operated by Dave Horner. Dave’s background is originally in Catering where he worked as a qualified Chef.

Over the past 40 years, Dave has amassed a wealth of experience in the licensed trade, ranging from being an owner, then manager, lessee and a landlord in a range of venues. More recently though, for the last 16 years and still to this day, Dave, now a qualified teacher/trainer, can be found teaching all things licensing.

Dave works for 2 national training providers, delivering the current APLH 1 Qualification for Personal License holders and has now taught over 8 thousand delegates. Dave also delivers the ARAR Qualification and the ABCQ qualification in relation to cask and keg beers.

During the past 16 years Dave can be regularly found among the tutors delivering Foundation Courses for the new landlords and managers for the likes of Punch Taverns and Enterprise Inns. Dave was formerly the lead trainer for the personal licence requirements for all ALDI staff throughout the North West Region.

During his time teaching, Dave has extensive knowledge of all the licensing application procedures and now offers these services through DH Licensing.
